Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, the islands of the Bay of Naples and the drama of Sicily — la dolce vita under sail.
Italy’s coastlines and islands are the very picture of the Mediterranean dream. In the north, Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda offers some of the clearest water and most glamorous anchorages in the sea, scattered with granite islets and turquoise bays. Further south, the Bay of Naples holds Capri, Ischia and the Amalfi Coast, where cliffs tumble to the sea beneath lemon groves. And off the toe of the boot lies Sicily, with its volcanic Aeolian islands and layered history. Together they offer food, beauty and drama in equal measure — la dolce vita, best enjoyed from the deck.
Our crewed catamarans sail the Italian Mediterranean in summer, ready to show you its islands and coastlines from the water.

A crewed catamaran is the ideal way to experience Italy’s islands and coastlines. You can anchor beneath the cliffs of Capri, swim in the granite coves of the Maddalena, and step ashore for the finest food in the Mediterranean. A catamaran’s shallow draft and space suit the Italian summer perfectly, and your crew handles everything — from the best berth in Porto Cervo to the quietest Aeolian anchorage.

June to September is the season. July and August are hottest, busiest and most glamorous; June and September are warm and quieter, ideal for a more relaxed trip. Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast are at their best either side of peak August.
They are quite far apart, so most charters focus on one ground per trip — Sardinia and the Maddalena for one week, the Bay of Naples and Amalfi for another, or Sicily and the Aeolians. A longer voyage can link them. Your crew will plan around your dates.
Sardinia charters usually start in Olbia; Bay of Naples charters from Naples or Salerno; Sicily charters from Palermo or Milazzo. All have good air connections, and our team coordinates flights, transfers and private aviation.
It is spectacular, though anchorages are limited and busy in high season — many prefer to base around Capri and the Bay of Naples and visit Amalfi by day. A catamaran lets you anchor where you can and enjoy the coast from the water. Our crew knows the best spots.
Yes. The warm, gentle summer seas, short distances and endless attractions ashore make Italy excellent for families. Sardinia’s sheltered Maddalena coves are particularly good for children, with calm, clear water for swimming.
