Deep-sea fishing

Stay aboard your luxury catamaran or villa. We arrange the sport-fishing operator. Wahoo, marlin, mahi-mahi, sailfish — chase blue-water trophies by day, return to comfort by evening. The catamaran is the base, the dedicated fishing boat does the hunting.

The Programme

Yacht or villa as base, local operator on the water

Sport fishing done well requires the right boat, the right gear, and crew who know the local waters. Rather than fitting a multi-purpose charter yacht for serious fishing, we arrange a dedicated sport-fishing operator on each destination — our base yacht or villa stays focused on hospitality and comfort.

Mornings start with departure from the yacht or villa on the sport-fishing boat. Trolling, drifting, casting — calibrated to the species in season. The local crew knows the underwater shelves, the current edges, the bait schools. Afternoons are spent back aboard, swimming, recovering, planning tomorrow.

For groups where only part of the party fishes, this model works particularly well — non-fishing partners and families stay aboard the catamaran or in the villa, with the yacht moving between anchorages or beach exploration while the fishing party is out. Everyone reconvenes at dinner.

The Model

Yacht or villa as base

The fishing is on a dedicated sport-fisher. The hospitality, the meals, the comfort — those stay on your yacht or in your villa. Best of both.

The model
Local sport-fishing operator + your base

Serious sport fishing requires a serious sport-fishing boat — outriggers, fighting chairs, livewells, the lot. Fitting that kit onto a multi-purpose charter catamaran compromises both the fishing and the hospitality. Instead, we partner with the best dedicated sport-fishing operators on each destination.

You stay aboard a luxury catamaran or villa. The fishing party heads out at first light on the sport-fisher. Everyone reconvenes for lunch or dinner. The catch goes to the chef. The boat moves with you. The model works particularly well for mixed-interest groups.

Common Questions

What guests ask first

Why not fit fishing kit to the catamaran?
Serious sport fishing requires a dedicated sport-fisher — the right hull shape, outriggers, fighting chairs, livewells. Trying to do it from a multi-purpose catamaran compromises both the fishing and the hospitality. Splitting the two delivers better on both sides.
What species can I target?
Depends on season and destination. Blue-water trophies (marlin, sailfish, wahoo, tuna, mahi) in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Reef species year-round. Mediterranean has its own seasonal mix.
Can non-fishing guests come?
Yes — the model is built around that. While the fishing party is out, the yacht moves between anchorages or stays at the villa with the rest of the group.
Do you do tournaments?
We can arrange entry into Caribbean tournaments (Bahamas Billfish, Boy Scout, others) on request — book early as entry fills fast.
Catch and release or keep?
Your choice. We recommend release for billfish (sailfish, marlin); keepers for mahi, wahoo and tuna become dinner that night.
