Cannes is where the European season opens. Around seven hundred boats afloat across two harbours — the Vieux Port and Port Canto, joined by a shuttle — some six hundred and eighty exhibitors, and a good number of world premieres. It is the one week of the year when almost every yacht we talk about is within walking distance of the others.
For our charter guests it is a rare thing: the chance to step aboard the yachts you have been reading about, in daylight, without a booking calendar in the way. And for those of you who have started to ask what it would take to own one — a question we hear more often each season — it is the right place to have that conversation properly.
Horizon Partnership
Horizon is the structured, income-led route into a brand-new Fountaine Pajot catamaran, professionally managed in the Caribbean or French Polynesia. Twenty-seven per cent of the acquisition comes back as cash at the end of year one through the French Overseas Tax Credit; annual remuneration runs between six and seven and a half per cent; you keep two to three weeks aboard each year at a discounted rate; and the programme has a defined exit at year five or seven, with a five per cent capital bonus for those who see it through.
It is built on conservative revenue assumptions and controlled operating costs — designed to stand on its operational merits, not on fiscal efficiency alone. Horizon runs from 59 to 120 feet, sail for now, on four selected platforms: FPY59, FPY70, FPY80 and FPY120. Three of the four are at Cannes.

Latitude Partnership
Latitude is the ownership-led alternative. The yacht is held in your name through a dedicated ownership company — new or quality pre-owned, your choice of platform, based wherever you wish to keep her. Odyssea then runs everything around it under a single agreement: central agency, crew, technical management, financial reporting, compliance and shore logistics, at preferential owner rates. You can place her in a managed charter programme in the weeks you are not aboard.

Fountaine Pajot FPY59
The entry point to the Fountaine Pajot Yachts collection at 18.78 m / 61.6 ft, on a 9.46 m beam and drawing only 1.65 m — which is precisely why she reaches the anchorages the deep-draft yachts cannot. Three interior layouts run from three to six cabins, up to twelve guests plus two crew, around a 17 m² owner's suite and a 29.4 m² flybridge. Hybrid propulsion with up to 42 kWh of lithium is available for those who would rather arrive quietly.
The new Fountaine Pajot FPY70
At 22.95 m / 75.3 ft on an 11.09 m beam, the FPY70 is where the collection becomes a properly crewed yacht. More than 226 m² of living space across eight configurations: three to six guest cabins, up to five crew with their own circulation, a 51 m² cockpit, a 31 m² flybridge and a 25 m² owner's suite. Up to 7 kW of solar and 64 kWh of storage, which on a week in the Grenadines means the generator stays off.
Fountaine Pajot FPY80
Twenty-four metres, 78.7 ft, on the same beam. Roughly 359 m² of living space — a 74 m² cockpit, a 40 m² panoramic flybridge, a 38 m² forward lounge, a 19 m² beach club and a 33 m² owner's suite. Fourteen guests, five crew, a watermaker to 600 litres an hour, and a jacuzzi. This is the tier where a charter stops feeling like a boat and starts feeling like a house that moves.
Simbad 55
The Simbad 55 is the first bluewater catamaran from the Alicante yard Simbad Yachts, drawn by Pierre Delion of Darnet Design and now represented by Odyssea. 17.59 m overall, 8.92 m beam, 173 m² of upwind sail area, 1,200 litres of fuel and 1,000 of water — genuine range. A 360° saloon in bleached oak and walnut, a deep and well-protected forward cockpit, and an XXL flybridge that becomes the social heart of the boat.
