A Bespoke Stoke instructor joins the yacht as a member of the crew for the length of the charter. They are there for one thing: your time on the water — one-to-one or in a small group, beginners and experienced riders alike.
Each day starts with the forecast. The instructor and the captain choose the spot and the timing together, so sessions run when the wind is right and the yacht anchors where the launch is easy. When the wind drops, the session changes rather than stops: eFoil needs no wind or waves, and wakeboarding runs behind the boat.
The crew keep running the yacht, and the captain keeps the final word on safety and on where she goes. If you ask for it, your sessions are filmed and you leave with a short edited video of your week.
Bespoke Stoke brings private, tailored watersports to yachts and villas. The team works aboard superyachts and sailing catamarans and joins your charter as part of the crew.
Tim Wade — Instructor & Founder. From Devon in the UK, Tim has taught kitesurfing for more than a decade — freestyle, wave and foil — along with wing, wake, sailing and paddleboarding. He works aboard superyachts and sailing catamarans, and founded Bespoke Stoke to bring that coaching to guests wherever the yacht is.
Kris — Instructor. From Poland, Kris has more than ten years of kitesurfing and teaching behind him, in places including Brazil and the Caribbean. He also surfs and dives.
Tommy Gaunt — Instructor. Tommy started kitesurfing in Scotland at the age of 12 and now lives in the British Virgin Islands, after teaching and riding around the world.
Every instructor is approved by Odyssea before joining a charter, and coaches under the Bespoke Stoke name.
